Working Student Program at Wynden Hill Farm
The working student program at WHF gives multiple learning opportunities for motivated individuals that have a passion for dressage. In exchange for assisting with the care and grooming of the training horses for approximately 20-25 hours per week, the working student will receive weekly instruction and have multiple riding opportunities. Please contact us for more information on the program, upcoming openings, and possible housing/stall options.
Past working students: Hillary Holman, Rachel Rehor, and Kate Krause
WHF is fortunate to have had several talented, hardworking individuals assisting us part time for the opportunity to learn and ride with Carol Schulz. Since coming to WHF, all have advanced their knowledge about dressage, horse care and farm management.
Hillary is a graduate of Michigan State University and spent two months (2009) in Germany studying with Catherine Haddad. Rachel is now at Ferris State University studying to become a pharmacist. She plans to use her experience at WHF with future dressage projects. Kate has returned to her hometown and is finishing her last semester to become a Registered Nurse.
