	*What’s Happening at the Farm...*


	Many of our clients purchased new horses in 2009:


	Congratulations to Sharon Sequite on her new equine partner, Romstarr. Rommy is a handsome 10 year old Wesphalian trained to 3rd level.




		Welcome Delores Wilson and her new FEI horse Lucky Mann. Lucky is a 16 year old Danish Warmblood and the perfect schoolmaster. Delores is thrilled to be perfecting her lateral work and the flying change!


	Congratulations to...


	Karin Steffens on her purchase of Saraveaux, a handsome and talented 7 year old Oldenburg gelding. Saraveaux came to us in this winter on consignment from breeder and previous owner Sheila Hathaway of Lowell, MI. Saraveaux found a great home with Karin in Gwinn, MI.


	Kathy Bull on her purchase of Will. Will is a 7 year old Quarter Horse gelding. Kathy and Will are currently schooling second level and enjoying the weekly trail rides around their farm in Skandia, MI.


	Cheri Johnson of Skandia, MI on her purchase of Ellie a 7 year old Trakehner cross mare. Ellie was bred and raised by Deneen Lindberg of Butternut Farm in Plainwell, MI. Carol found Ellie for Cheri while on one of her horse hunting trips and is looking forward to teaching them at upcoming clinics.

										Congratulations to Lori Young and Antonio for their multiple successes showing second level at several Dressage at Waterloo shows.



		Welcome to Kaite Wixson and her 8 year old Hanoverian mare, Katie. They arrived at WHF in November 2009 and show great promise in developing into a successful dressage team. Kaite is a junior young rider and member of the Leslie High School Equestrian Team.



				*And what ever happened to our championship colt from 2008?* He spent this year playing in the paddock and growing up. Be on the look out for future appearances. 2008 Record: 1st USDF HOY 2-year old colt in Region 2 and 7th USDF HOY 2-year old colt nationally. Don Draco is an Oldenburg gelding by Diamond Hit out of Rhythmic (Rhodiamont).
